Biography

Dr. R. Thiyagarajan is an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati with expertise in Robotics and Automation, Mechatronics, Additive Manufacturing, and Dynamics and Control of Field and Service Robots.

He obtained his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras), Chennai, and completed his Master of Engineering degree from Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University, Chennai.

His research focuses on intelligent robotic systems, autonomous platforms, underwater vehicle technologies, advanced control systems, and emerging robotics applications.
