Biography
Dr. Sherimon P.C. serves as Dean, Faculty of Computer Science, Arab Open University, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science along with two Master's Degrees in Computer Science and Information Technology.
He previously served as Lecturer at the School of Computer Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, India and as Head of Section in the Department of Information Technology at Higher College of Technology, Muscat.
With more than 23 years of teaching, research and administrative experience, Dr. Sherimon has made significant contributions to computer science education, research, innovation and academic leadership across multiple institutions.

- First National Research Award from The Research Council (TRC), Government of Oman – First Indian National to receive this distinction.
- Group Research Award, Arab Open University (2015).
- Best Researcher Award (2022).
- Research Excellence Award, Mahatma Gandhi University, India (2020).
- COVID-19 Research Project Grant from Government of Oman (2020).

- Presented research papers at international conferences across USA, UK, Russia, China, Malaysia, India, Kuwait, Jordan, Dubai, Ajman and Oman.

- Served as Chairman and Scientific Committee Member for various conferences.
- Reviewer for The Research Council (TRC) and several international journals.
- Principal Investigator for research projects funded by The Research Council, Oman.
