Biography

Amal S. George is a Lecturer in Fire Safety at the International College of Engineering and Management (ICEM), Muscat, Oman.

He possesses expertise in fire safety engineering, risk analysis, chemical process safety, structural fire safety, and occupational health and safety.

With professional experience spanning both academia and industry, he has worked extensively in risk management, Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA), construction safety, and transportation safety.

Prior to joining ICEM in 2021, he served as an Assistant Professor and Research Scholar at Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kerala, India.

He also gained valuable industrial experience as an HSE Engineer with VA TECH WABAG Ltd., contributing to projects in Nepal and Gujarat.
